I was very impressed with the care and handling of this clinic, not just for the animals they have in their care but, also for the family members. High discretion, knowledge, and respect.Their prices are quite cheap compared to other clinics in the area. I can not believe how pathetic the vet is here. First off, I got my cat neutered here and they did not take one testicle out because it did not drop. Later, I found out that this can cause testicular cancer in cats and it should NEVER be an option to leave it in. I talked to the vet and he argued with me about the neuter. He still wanted me to pay to get the other one removed when it should have been taken out in the first place. Secondly, my cat got a large wound on his leg from a stray cat. I took my cat here to have it looked at. The vet proceeded to take my cat to the back and cut off the tissue with no painkillers or sedatives. He then told me I had to either put my cat down or get the leg amputated. I took my cat to the Westlock Vetrinary Centre and they took care of him. They told me it would be foolish to put the cat down at all. They never gave up on my cat. After 5 months, it is finally healed and I paid them to fully neuter my cat. If you really love your pet, dont bring them to the Wellness Centre.
Got an estimate based on higher than the animal's weight, explaining that I couldn't afford a surprise, only to be surprised by a bill more than 100$ more. The dog was well treated, but we will continue looking for an honest vet. :(
The staff here are super friendly and knowledgeable. The prices are very affordable. They were very patient while I calmed my cat down after his dental surgery. I highly recommend this place!
