I'm from Edmonton and I traveled out here based on a couple of recommendations, worth the drive if you want any custom work done! I got exactly what I wanted for a great price.
Mr Turner is a craftsman beyond words. You make a suggestion and it can draw it up in moments. His work is wonderful. I have family and friends that now will only go to Mr Turner. His staff are always welcoming and helpful. You would not be disappointed with any work by Mr Turner and his staff.
When my husband proposed he did so with an amazing ring custom designed by John. He used a diamond his mom gave him, and had more added with custom stones. It shines like the sun!But the most important part of this on J M's side was this- a day after I got the ring, a small diamond fell out. I was heartbroken but couldn't bare to part with the ring, thinking it would take some time/money etc. When I brought it to J M. Turner Goldsmith to finally be repaired expecting a bill and to lose it for a few weeks/month - I was told (even though it was made in 2013, and I brought it in March 27th 2017) it would take 15 minutes, and would be free of charge. My husband's family over the years has brought all the jewelry business they have to John, and I fully understand why. The quality is amazing, the staff wonderful, shop adorable and professional....I could literally sit here all day and type out good things about them. I will always return to John for any and all work now. He's got my business for life.

Got a custom ring made as a gift - it's absolutely spectacular! I was told, before it was even made, that if I wasn't happy with it, it would be redone. They are lovely people and I'm completely thrilled with my ring! I would recommend them to anybody looking for custom work.
